Tree Planting Excursion
On 11th of March 2015, Mrs Heffernan, Mrs Johnson and the Kellyville Enviro Kids went to the Western Sydney Parklands for planting many trees and KEK helped rejuvenate the Cumberland Plain.
We met the Greening Australia workers who told us that today, there is only 7% of the native Cumberland Plain left. Kellie demonstrated how to plant the native trees and then we got grubby. Everyone was tired. We dug the hard, rocky ground and pushed in stakes.
The Kellyville Enviro Kids have helped to save the planet by planting trees!
